The Trinity is an attempt to reconcile monotheism with the desire to deify Jesus.

Jesus Christ is the Word of God made flesh. John describes the Word of God as being both with God and God in the beginning.

In Genesis, God refers to Himself in the plural, stating, "Lets make man in our image."

I've heard it said that He was God, but became man, so He is no longer God, but sits at the right hand of the Father, who sits in the leadership role of the single God person.

Like we have a soul and a mind, and they have their own personalities, yet they are the same person, us, and distinctive in their own right at the same time. This is a hard concept.

Well, suffice it to say, that Christ is the Word of God made flesh. He was with God and God at the same time. He dwelt among us for a time and obeyed the law of death and the grave, however because he had no sin, no disobedience towards God, the penalty of death could not hold Him, and He came back. Now he dwells in heaven with the Father waiting for when the time has come for Him to come again and assert his dominion over the earth and rule it with an iron scepter.

However, according to Revelations, that time will not come until after we have given over ourselves to Satan and served him as our Messiah through his false-prophet that will likely be called the anti-Christ by devout Christians when that day comes.

God splayed Himself out so vastly that even we are part of Him. Jesus was even more so and knew it. And tried to show us how we all are part of God. If God wanted to, He could recall of His vastness into one solid being where we would no longer exist but instead be one with Him. But no. He is going to do that but only with voluntary wills who want to do that. And that is what this is all about. What parts of Him are He going to recall unto Him when the time comes. Many of us are going to be very willing to be part of that overture. But many won't be so willing and probably wont have to go.

Jesus is the Son of God who became a man and lived here on the earth and died for mankind. He was resurrected back to Heaven and became a spirit again and sat at his fathers right hand.
