why can't i change the time zone on my group calendar?

When I click on Actions/Options for the Event Calendar in Yahoo Groups, it shows I am set on GMT instead of Eastern Time. When I try to change to Eastern Time, the screen freezes at "saving changes" - see attached screen shot. My reminders are going to the group showing GMT and this is not satisfactory. Any solution other than switching to Google Groups?

I have the same problem for my group. I want it to be on Eastern Time (US) and it won't let me. It says saving changes, but never completes the save--It stays on Greenwich Mean Time. Please help. The Group is Claverack Democrats
