I doubt there is a significant bias of 'intelligence' for or against religious belief.

The measurement of intelligence is to some extent subjective. After all, the Bible tells us that 'the fool says in his heart that there is no God'!

When it comes to scientific advance, there is a strong case to be made for Christianity being foundational.

A number of the most famous scientists of all time were not only Christians, but creationists.

Newton, Kelvin, Kepler, Maxwell, Pascal, Joule, Bacon, Babbage, the Wright brothers, Faraday, Mendel, Pasteur, and many others.

Well for the IQ I'm not sure about that, but as far as the bible quiz part, a lot of people who are atheist/agnostic have studied the bible and really looked into it and that's what made them decide to not believe it in. Many Christians are just raised that way, go to church every Sunday, pray every night, and never really question much. So many atheists are often more informed on religion than religious people are.

Intelligence has nothing to do with religion. Some believers are morons, others are geniuses. Most of the famous scientists of the 19th and 20th centuries were religious. Same with atheists, some are smart, others dumb. Religious preferences are determined by many things like societal pressure, upbringing, personal choice, etc. My parents raised me Catholic, and I believed in God when I was a kid because everyone said he was real. I wasn't stupid, just an impressionable kid.

First it take about 20-30 points on an IQ test to be a visible difference. Second, anyone who denies God is an idiot.

Ya know it's ashamed a lot of atheists are very smart people yet they ignore God when He is right in front of them yelling "stop, you don't wanna go there" and yet they still go to the bag of candy in satans van of death when they could go to God and find peace, safety, righteousness, and endless love eternally along with an endless batch of cookies and every food imaginable.

the other day I saw a homeless man with a Bible, If I didn't know better I would think every homeless man is Christian and has a bible

Most the ones on R&S. A lot of them are hateful and need to be put down for the safety of sane people.
