I have a Cobra CDR810. The picture quality is pretty good, though trees come out lavender- that may be from the tinted windows. The battery will run low after about 1/2 hour, but there's a lighter cord. It came with an 8GB micro sd card, but a 16 would be better. When it fills the card it records over from the beginning. The mount is somewhat fragile and I broke mine and had to glue it back together with acrylic cement the first few days I had it. I bought a replacement mount from Cobra for $14. The operating controls are not so simple- it takes learning what each button is for. For what it does, I like it OK. It provided me "who's at fault" video in an insurance claim where I was sideswiped by a reckless driver because her blacked-out windows prevented her from seeing other traffic. and she suddenly changed lanes without even signaling and I could not brake fast enough for her to miss hitting me.

Day to day I get footage of very stupid stuff Berkeley people do in the street. I ought to t put it on youtube.
