Tupolev Tu-95?

Should this plane be part of the modern AIR FORCE?

    your question is like asking if P-3 Orion or c-130 should be a part of modern air force. dont fix what aint broken. it can still fly for two weeks straight just sucking from an air tanker, it can fly around the planet, it can carry offensive capability and it can collect IMING and ELINT, which is all the Russians want from it. doing it with Tu-95 or even B-29 should they be available and efficient, means they can save money on other projects.

    yeah but you could detect this thing while it is entering in solar system let alone in air defense.

    IT is big slow and not exactly agile.

    considering it is the propeller-driven and it's size, it is really fest.

    But it's it size what makes it easy target, and it's speed what makes it siting dock(siting dock while flying :) ).
