What do I do about this girl?? Need help asap?

I met this girl a few weeks ago. The first time we met We didn't talk much. Later I found out she always thought I was attractive A couple weeks ago I met her again at a party and we ended up making out. I got her number but she hates texting because she has a flip phone. I met her again a week later. I told her to come to a hookah lounge with a few friends. She didn't answer me for a few hours so met after and just hung out alone. We ended up making out. we get to her apartment, so I ask her if she has a nice apartment. She says "I'll show you guys it some day." This was weird b/c it was only me and her there. I met her again a few days ago because we went to a volleyball game with friends. After the game we all hung out with new people. A lot of the guys were hitting on her. When we were all about to part ways she hugged the other guys and said "goodbye forever" (don't know if it was a Joke) but when she hugged me she said I'll see you Monday. When I left, I called her from the subway station while I waited for the train. I flirted a bit and at the end of the convo I said:

Me: my train is here but before I go... Can I take you on a date monday?

Her: my family is coming over Monday

Me: (I thought I got rejected) well maybe some other time

Her: we'll figure it out when we see each other in school

Is that a rejection? I'm so confused. How do I ask her out in school? I never see her there except occasionally. Should I hit her up to hang out during breaks or something?
