Study takes into account correlation vs. causation and shows extra schooling causes people to become less religious. What do you think?

The more people learn, the harder it is for religious leaders to lie to them about things that go against their book. e.g. "Evolution says we came from monkeys!" "Science is the devil!" "Evolution, abiogenesis and the Big Bang are all parts of the evil conspiracy of the Evilutionists!!!"

Then the lies lead to questioning, and legitimate critical questioning of your religion is usually the end of your religiosity. Ask any Atheist.

Since our " institutions of higher learning" are primarily run by atheist, you're probably right.
