They are generally useless in keeping Ebola out of this country. As with every other issue, politicians like to be seen to be "doing something" - even if that something is expensive and ineffective. When someone in the UK contracts Ebola and the gutter press want to know why the government didn't do something about it - they will reply that border measures cost £15 million.

They are an absolute joke. They should close the borders to all persons coming from Africa either by a direct flight, or a flight via another country.

They are as good as they can be, that backed up with the quality of medical care means there's very little to worry about.
