job dilemma. stay or go?

Hello :) I have a job dilemma. I currently have a job. Not great money, longish hours, not enjoying it but it's right on my door step. I went for a job interview today and got offered it. Great atmosphere, better money, get to work with my cousin, however it will take me longer to get there and they have a large turn over of employees...

Is it better the devil I know? Or should I take the risk?

The first thing I would have aske after being offered the job would be, wjy there is a large turn over of staff. There does not seam to be a consistantcy. Why would it be a great atmosphere, if there is a large turn over of staff. If I was you , I would have a chat with your cousin, to find out if she knows why this is. Also you say the money is better, but you would have to travel for longer. Weigh that up and find out if after spending money on your travel,if you would be much better off. And another thing, how long it takes to travel to and fro . Has to be taken into consideration, because that will be addedd to your working day. Good luck in your decision.

I'd try to find out why, with a great atmosphere and good money, they have such high turnover. Ask your cousin what he or she likes and dislikes about working there.
