Do honors courses in Cincinnati, Ohio serve as a perquisite to AP classes in Lubbock, Texas?

Update:

I am currently a freshman at Oak Hills High School, and I am enrolled in Honors Biology, Honors Modern World History, Honors English 2, and Honors Geometry. I am also in Spanish 2. I am moving to Lubbock Texas at the end of this school year. Next year I will be enrolling in Frenship High School. There they have a Pre-AP program. Would my classes serve as Pre-AP courses to allow me to take AP courses next year? Also, will there be an extreme change in curriculum. Please help I am very concerned I

Different schools work differently. I went to 3 different high schools during my 4 years and so I would suggest you talk to a guidance counselor as to what constitutes a prerequisite class. For example in one high school I went to, I was in Spanish 4 and Spanish 5 is AP. After moving, the high school I graduated from only went to up Spanish 4 so Spanish 4 was their AP class. Also different high schools have different number of credits and/or requirement you need to fulfill before you graduate. I think with the number of credits I had going into my final high school, I could have graduated early, but did not know that.
