Absolutely not. They are our main suppliers of arms to our enemies. Just look at Iran, Syria and North Korea all of their equipment is Russian/Soviet built weapons. We are always in proxy wars with them just like when they invaded Afghanastan. We can deal and trade with Russia but shouldn't be their friend or ally. At least not until they get new leadership and rid their country of corruption.

The U.S. did not help Russia to drive the German army out. My friend, the USSR helped wn the war. because Russian soldiers are disciplined and competent. Russians liberated some concentration camps, Americans liberated others.
