can Squaric acid bind to catechol oxidase enzyme active site?

we were doing an experimet and we ound that pyrogallol substrate can attach to catechol oxidase active site. i gues it gthat catechol oxidase might be attracted to 2 hydroxy group closely place. so i know that Squaric acid has 2 hydroxyl group on 1 site. i was wondering if is even possible for these 2 to bind ?

no, you should not forget that that catechol oxidase and 2 hydroxll gp close together is going to make the systrm unstable since both OH pairs in both will tend to repel without forming any structure(bonds or atractions)
