Why is broly treated like he's omnipotent?

Broly is soooooo overrated to be so terrible. I mean, come on guys. His power is not infinite. In the movie it says his ki constantly rises, not his power. If you don't know the difference, stop watching DBZ and never think about it again. People put him along the ranks of Majin Buu, SSJ3 Goku, and Mystic Gohan. Come on guys, LSSJ Broly would get destroyed by SPC. So please, someone explain to me where this Broly omnipotence came from.

broly is a very strong charecter but he does not posses god like power maybe the reason for him being to overrated is because he is a pretty cool charecter i mean come on he's a legendary super saiyan also he was the only charecter who didn't take a single blow from any one in the movie.but yes since broly is non canon i don't know why people think he is the strongets charecter in the series even majinn buu is atleast a 1000x stronger than he is.

Destroyed by Super Perfect Cell? I think not. Already he is stronger than Perfect Cell (take the Kamehameha to the face by Goku as an example of power difference) so SPC won't make the difference.
People generally give Broly this "omnipotence" because he's a very badass character.
If you don't like him, that's OK but don't judge the entire fanbase Broly has based upon the exaggerations of a few over-excited fans.

The ki in DB IS power, it's their energy. They wouldn't be able to destroy much without it.
Broly certainly is not omnipotent, and I say he's a galaxy buster, stronger than Majin Buu.

Ki is like Chakra in Naruto, the more ki, the more powerful punch as simple as that. Broly is way beyond the line of overrate and not to mention hes not even canon when it comes to the original Dragon Ball manga.
