It is likely that the answers have been deleted before you can see them, whether the deletion was done by the person who posted it, or by the answer being reported enough for them to be removed. They can't take the notifications back after they have been sent, so you are left with notifications of answers that are no longer there.
Also, you might want to post your info as an update to the question, rather than posting it as an answer. Since answer is supposed to be used for answers.
