Why do women always make such a big deal about leaving the toilet seat down?

Seriously, what's the big deal? It takes so little energy to put it down yourself that it's not even worth talking about.

Actually, I insist on both the seat and the lid being down. Why? Because it's the default position (when you open the fridge to get food, you close it after, don't you?), it's unsanitary to leave it up, and it's easy to accidentally drop your toothbrush or phone or something in the toilet if the seat and lid are up.

Yeah, but then again, I don't know why some guys want to leave it up. When you flush the toilet, little droplets of water are thrown into the air. Some of them land on your toothbrush.

So I always close the lid before I flush, because I am not a disgusting animal. It has nothing to do with women.

First what about putting "the little effort" into putting it down yourself and it's simply disgusting I have to explain this to my man as well all the time, it's you don't leave something you put beer and food in open, why leave something you **** in open-.-' mostly only you guys need to touch that lid, but we don't and I don't want to have a reason to do so unless it's for cleaning it with platic gloves on!

If its so little effort, then why can't you put it down?

You were the one who put it up in the first place.

I actually insist on both the toilet seat *and* the lid being put down all the time, when its not being used.

You see, my mum trained me about basic hygiene and decency.

Also, you should have some consideration when you are living with a female.

It's not a cinema. What is the big deal about putting it down?

When I take the time to lift a seat so as to leave it dry for the ladies it is only fair that they can spend their own energy to put it back down again.

The women who make issue of the seat being up are selfish and tied to some concept of chivalry which no longer exists.

They take a simple act like leaving the seat up and turned it into some sort of statement that ,"Oh we can't get our precious fingers soiled with the water closet seat." Wait until you have sons, up and dry will be welcome.

Way to take a courteous move like keeping it dry so you don't have to sit on pee and turn it into something because you have to put it down.

    Default position is DRY.

I never thought much about that either until one day my wife tells me; your little girl will come in here one day and try to get up on that seat herself. Guess what happens if you leave it up? I have never left it up since. And you know what? Making sure it is down did not make me any less of a man.

Basically its because women are just as lazy as us men, we cant be bothered to lower the seat when we,ve finished, women cant be bothered to lower the seat before they start

Women should piss in a bucket until morning and crap out in woods.
