It'd be interesting to tally up all the JWs who think they're "elect" (vs. those with mere "earthly hope") and see how much that number exceeds 144,000.

There is no 144,001. Jehovah and Jesus know absolutely how to count. There are no scraps.

We are all happy. We serve a very happy God. We are all a happy family with 8 million relatives we actually LIKE. How often can that be said?

Our future is fantastic. Grounded in reality, not fantasy that false religions try to maintain. Science's problem is not figuring why we all die and do not live forever, with our bodies always renewing themselves. Romans 5:12 explained that as almost 2 000 years ago.

Our future is bright and happy. No mote wars, famine, sickness or death. Living forever without crime, pollution or any violence or fear.

I remember how one speaker talking about Jesus and his teaching methods. As little kids, we often argue with others, "My dad is bigger than your dad. Or my dad can beat up your dad." Now, imagine Jesus in that situation?

Can you not see the peace and contentment spread across Jesus' face? Knowing his Father created the entire universe that we are just the size of atoms in comparison. There was not a trace of worry or concern in him.

We know too Jehovah is our real spiritual Father, Creator and Friend. What do we need worry about?

I think the real 144,000, whoever they are, will not be happy campers because the JWs spent all this time pretending to be them and leading people far away from God.

    *EDIT*

I knew I'd seen "144,001" recently. It's something Charles Taze Russell wrote.

We remind you here of the Master's words when approached by the disciples who asked, "Lord, why speakest Thou unto the people in parables?" Jesus answered and said unto them, "To you it is given to know of the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, but unto all outsiders these things are spoken in parables and in dark sayings, that hearing they might hear and not understand." (Luke 8:10.) To our understanding the total number of members in this Order of the Melchizedek Priesthood will be 144,001, the one being our Grand Master and Lord and Redeemer, the others

being those of whom He says, "All ye are brethren," and of whom the Apostle declares they are members in particular of the Body of Christ, the Church of the Firstborns, whose names are written in Heaven.

There is enough room in God's kingdom for everyone living on this earth. Unfortunately, only a few will reach there.

Seeing as there are already heaps more than that, I think they should start culling their membership, because they can't guarantee entry to heaven and a place on the rapture-bus for all their gang.

I'd be asking for my tithe money back!
