Screen shot his texts or whatever and send them to police and file a restraining order against him. That's not normal.

That is called "blackmail".A psychological "hold"on someone.He is trying to manipulate you into owning you.He is also showing signs of insecurity with fear of "loss/rejection".Go easy and just fade out of the situation and mix with other friends and family who care about you.It is not love but selfishness and immaturity.
