Can someone interpret my dream?

I dreamt that my father was killed in front of me. (Shot in the chest to be exact.) there was no face to the murderer. All I saw was a gun. And the bullet being shot into my father. I also dreamt of myself at his funeral crying. My bestfriend (whom my father adopted into the family) and mother were also in the dream. Can someone please interpret my dream? I'm somewhat concerned. I've never had significant dreams like this. I would like to know what it means. I appreciate any insight that you have to offer. Please no rude answers. Thank you.

Firstly, you need to realize that dreams are not meant to be taken literally, so your father is not going to get shot in real life. Dreams bring messages about current life situations using symbols and emotions from daily experiences so what is happening can be viewed from a different perspective. A traumatic dream such as this came to you because it is meant to get your attention and act on the message of the dream. It is clear you love your father dearly and he plays a large role in your life. For some reason it appears that you feel a separation. Perhaps you are planning to move away from home or start a new school, or you simply have the desire to not have your life influenced of controlled anymore. I don't know your situation so I can only make some guesses, but it is important that you the dreamer try to find out exactly what situation in your life this represents and make adjustments so that you can secure your future success and happiness. You also need to realize that moving on with your life does not mean that you are ending a relationship. A strong relationship will also remain, but at some point in time, you need to start living your own life.

The dreamer is always in the best position and the best one to interpret the dream because of personal and intimate knowledge of hidden feelings, experiences and life situations.

Dreams do not offer solutions. They show what is happening from a different perspective and the dreamer has the free will to choose a new or better direction in life. Have faith in who you are. It is always best to make choices using integrity and wisdom. Let universal love and truth be the foundation of guidance with the objective of personal happiness while not hurting anyone in the process.

I used to have dreams like this. Getting shot at by multiple people chasing me around Target with no faces. Fighting a group of people with no faces. Some scary stuff. Maybe you're afraid you might lose him in real life. Have you talked to him about it?

Your subconscious doesn't typically show you what's real, just what you've been thinking about in the deep pockets of your mind. In this case, your father dying is probably a deep fear of yours that you may not have even realized existed. But now that this even t has been brought forward in your mind you realize it.

Witnessing a death or murder in a dream can be really scary. Dreaming about murder in general can mean that someone in your life is going to disappoint you or hurt you in a deep way. In the instance where you are watching the murder of a loved one, it can be interpreted to mean that this person represents hopes or dreams to us. When we fear that we may never reach that goal or that we are losing hope, we see the person who represents that bright future brutally ripped away from us.
