Which is the most practical world view: theism, atheism or agnosticism?

"Most" depends on circumstances, in part.

Of course, atheism is illogical, based on the fallacy of claiming a universal negative (unprovable).

Agnosticism is simply interested openness to data, including miracles and psi.

Theism is helpful, in that a spiritual rudder is psychologically beneficial, per Pascal's wager, which concludes by noting that an infinite reward per e.g. practicing the 2 commands of Jesus Christ is worth the finite effort, not to mention the evidence of Saints (such as Teresa of Avila, who writes Christ-minded sentences on nearly every page of e.g. Interior Castle).

It's a helpful check to read books of quality spiritual/theistic people, e.g. Saint John of the NT, and if one doesn't resonate with such, one may note one may be somewhat "gross", in the "know thyself" mode.

Also, The Path of the Higher Self is an example, as is Man, Master of His Destiny, of integrating theism and scientific clarity/openness.

There is no functional difference (when discussing "world view") between atheism and agnosticism. Both result in the same subjective treatment of human rights and our sense of justice here on earth. As such, theism is least practical, because it incorrectly presumes an objective baseline of morality that is not constant to all (or even most) humans. Non-theism assumes a subjective baseline for morality and ethics,and is therefore more likely to result in an approach that will apply worldwide.

That depends on what you mean by practical. Theism, in its dogmatic forms, is a very practical world-view, in that it frees you from having to search for answers about the mysteries of existence, while providing you with the reassurance that you are loved, that you know what life is all about, and that death will take you to a better place. For those without spiritual tendencies, materialistic atheism frees you from having to think about anything other than the practical. For the philosophical-minded, agnosticism frees the mind of preconceptions and lets you approach reality on your own terms.

I respect my atheist friends and most of their reasons for rejecting God's claims for existence and caring presence

However, I find God-Is- Love theism the most practical since it alone can offer the consolation of a just and happy life after death as well as justice and mercy in the afterlife

I think agnosticism is the only rational position - it is the only one consistent with common sense and our observations. We really don't know about god and all that. All we can do is realize that.

Agnosticism, its wise to question everything from different perspectives.
