Christmas gift?? For my mom help?!!?
Ok so my mom has been talking about getting a rabbit for a long time, she loves the color red, but works with Speacil ed children so cannot wear jewelry. For the rabbit I have a neighbor with lionhead rabbits so could get one from her, but don't have much money to buy a cage. The rabbit would have to be kept inside, in a room with a hedgehog. She is into Wicca and has incense and that kind of stuff. I thought about getting something neat from an antique store but my budget is 30 or less dollars.
( I could build a rabbit cage though because I have a shed full of wood)

Your mom will love whatever you get her for Christmas. If you really want to her the rabbit and cage ask your dad or other family members for extra money to get it then pay tem back.

Getting a rabbit is a really big commitment- bigger than a lot of people realize. Make sure that if you get her a rabbit, you're fully prepared for the financial needs of the animal. Rabbits cost about $700 a year to maintain, need fresh veggies, pellets, and hay daily. They also need to see the vet anually and need to be spayed and neutered. Rabbits can be litter box trained, so in some cases, a cage may not be necessary, but the room the rabbit is kept in will need to be made safe for the bunny.
