My desktop computer behaves slowly and often says " internet explorer has stopped working" anytime a website is has too much information.?

    that's the other problem......it won't finish updating all the updates. This desktop computer that I bought refurbished worked great for two years. I can't really complain too much since I only payed $119 dollars for it. I use Avast anti virus which is a great in my opinion. Something is not right..........it makes a lot of noise when I turn it on. I'll keep investigating though.

    Use a better browser...though it could just be Adobe Flash (which is still unoptimized and runs terribly after all these years). If it's flash, you can try turning off hardware acceleration - though I don't know how in IE because I've disable IE a long time ago.

    What version of Internet Explorer are you on? Make sure you have the latest version and you have installed all available updates for your computer.
