I bought a laptop refurbished and it has a rediculous amount of programs on it. 5 7 to be exact and it has to have something to do with why it runs slow at times and says "stop script" message often. I do not want to start uninstalling things till I know for sure and have done a back-up first.

These bookmarks were made in IE so I don't see why the link matters. Can I fix this. I tried "open in IE"....still doesn't wk.

It seems to work just fine except for one on certain videos it will just stop playing and certain websites it has prbolems with. Is there any programs I'm supposed to download that would clear these problems up.

under music a bunch of bookmarks from 2012 and 2013 have moved from External Hard Drive to laptop. I never went to these folders. Is this explainable?

didn't advertise. This has happened twice though I'm upset about a jacket I received. This picture s a tan Mens large jacket when I got it yesterday in the mail I received an orange jacket that is a boys large. Its not shrunk so and its smaller that a mens small its definitely not a MENs large. I want my money back on this purchase....what do I do.

The other odd fact of this to mention is this is the first day in like three weeks where .......how do I say this........where I basicly have felt good about my future. Some say its an omen and not to look them in the eyes but I looked two of them in the eyes and said telepathicly. I am not scared of death tell me why I should be scared. Owls are to believed to ushers to the world beyond physical existence to some ancient American tribes.

My question to you is....what proof is there that this may be an omen of my death and should I care?

I created a couple stations on Pandora several years ago. One a Stanley Clark radio and the other RHCP radio. I've discovered great jazz music and rock music on both these stations while getting some computer work done. I have not been on it much the last year or so but I tried at home and at the library to access the site and all I get is a screen the says PANDORA and there is no sign in info. Anybody know what might be going on ?

This is a laptop I just had a new OS and hard drive put in it. I have used it about 4 times. 2 times I have to wait a ridiculously long time for it do this "configuring windows update" where it starts at 1 of 20 and then slowly goes to 20 of 20 then shutsdown and restarts. It really piss me off yesterday I was in a coffee shop and without warning starts doing this "configuring windows update" with a message telling you "please to not turn off till complete. Also is it normal to see a blackscreen with writing before you see Windows loading when starting up. I'm thinking they didn't properly reload the operating system or properly clean out any exiting corrupt files from the old OS and hard drive that went bad from a corrupt file and may or is that normal. Its an ASIS laptop if that matters.

the problems I'm having a started when I entered in the command inetcpl.cpl inthat is supposed to erase passwords and history. Ever since I did this all documents I had saved disappeared. The weird thing is you can still pull up the name of the documents also google is not behaving as it was before and I exported my FIREFOX bookmarks successfully yet the bookmarks are still visable instead of being blank like it usually is when I do this for Internet Explorer. How do I undo this problem ?

by entering it into where it say "search programs and files" above the start button after you click on it. It worked great because I had a guest using my computer while I was at work and didn't want them snooping too much. Now its annoying me and want the computer back the way it was. So how do I change it back?

I do not want to erase everything or any of the bookmarks. Also how do you hide folders?

I am going to the beach this weekend with a new girlfriend and her friends and my girlfirend and I are going be having sex for the first time (what she said !) and I'm a little nervous because I have not felt very sexual the last 4-6 weeks possibly because of a natural anti depressant I was taking but just stopped or because I just turned 37. I don't think its my age though, I've always had a strong sex drive. So what foods vitamins or other things should I do to make sure I impress her in the sack this weekend.

before the error occured on it that caused a complete failure as far as I can tell. Its an Asus laptop and it had a "error message" from day one which I ignored. It wasn't anerror abo0ut the hard drive so I just ignored it every time it came up. From what someone told me it depends on the brand wether you get that option. I can't think of the error code but some told me it awsn't programmed correctly from the factory but can be fixed in re-downlaod.

All day sunday I laid around drifting in and out of sleep with the radio on. I remember hearing an awesome on NPR ( same station that interviewer Terry Something is on) show talking about the internet and how stuff you post on line can come back to haunt and that some employers are actually asking for the password to faceboook account. Then the show went from there to talking about peoples behaviors on the internet and websites where people have dialogue back and forth about a webcam of an empty room saying things like "when is someone going to come walking in" ? It was a weird show and perfect for a lazy sunday while I layed there recovering from a hangover but now I can't find the show. I know the person being interviewed had written a book but the only thing I remember in the title of the book is "dinosaur".

The NPR homepage is confusing.......I would guess the show was around midday and a rebroadcast. I looked under different headings such as "Weekend Edition Sunday" and "on point" with Tom Ashbrook. There is a show Called "Privacy and Civil Liberties" but its not the same show and Tom Ashbrook was definately not the host because I listen his shows all the time.

The guy selling claims claims he was a mechanic in the army for 12 years and has invested all this time and money into the car but hes moving to the west coast with his wife and needs to sell if fast. The car looks brand new (interior as well) but I wonder if I'll regret it if I get it. He said it gets 30 mpg but the internet says it gets closer 25. Does it have another 100,000 to go ? What should I look for when I go test drive it Saturday.

I tried another cord for downloading the pics.......same message. WHats the deal. I never had a problem before and its SANDISC 4gb a good brand. Is their any tricks to getting past this problem like taking more pics on a different camera ? I can't get the photos off of the disc with this message.
