I feel guilty?

I think the source is because im am atheist. And i have a very strong knowledge on the topic of religion compared to actual religious people. And for some weird reason i always feel the need to point out flaws in religion to religious people when the topic is brought up (usually they start the conversation). Even though im not really doing anything wrong and only trying to make them think i feel bad or guilty. Is there something wrong with me?

No, there isn't anything wrong with you. I tend to do the same thing and I agree, it's not a particularly effective way to interact with people I suggest that instead of debating dogma, discuss the spiritual and mystical aspects of religion. Rather than tell people what you know, learn to ask open people ended questions about what scripture means to them and their every day lives. Whenever someone uses a pronoun other than "I", ask them another question about them. People tend to speak in the general/universal "you", to avoid owning their beliefs, usually without knowing that's what they are doing. Their entire lives are directed by a set of beliefs they've never even examined. Don't set out to change their minds. Just ask questions. Eventually they'll either see something new and have a change of heart, or they'll get sick of doing all that thinking that your questions force them to do and will stop bringing up the subject.

I know, I sometimes feel guilty too. And sometimes I feel guilty for taking candy from a baby. Or I feel guilty for getting half dollars from the bank to cull out the silver ones for five times the face value.

No, there is nothing wrong with it. But, I would recommend not having discussions like this with people who are really sensitive because it may hurt their feelings. I would also try to say it in a kind way and not to seem rude.

    I hope I helped! :)

I just wish I had your spare time. Meddling in other people's lives is a poor hobby.

I am Agnostic Pantheist, or Buddhist/Satanist, which I see as being the logical middle ground, or being the obvious truth or enlightenment by which all other religions should be viewed.

No, you don't have to feel guilty. Believe or don't believe what ever you want.

There is something wrong. The devil is using you to attack people's faith. Don't let him use you. The wages of sin is death.

Feelings of guilt stem from our need to perceive ourselves as "nice" people.

    Stop thinking you're all that.

    lol

...oh admit it, you're cruel and made of unobtainium.

I could be wrong, but it seems to me that the Holy Spirit of God is convicting you of sins you've committed.

The purpose of this is NOT to condemn you just to make you feel bad, but to get you to the place where you'll cry out to God and ask Him to forgive you and be the Lord (boss) of your life.

When you do that, He will forgive you, He will cleanse you from ALL your guilt, and He'll adopt you into His Forever Family, when you are ready to commit your life to Him and follow and obey Him, and repent of your sins (turn your back on your sins).

Jesus died to allow God to forgive you, so He could take the penalty in your place. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that who ever believes in (trusts in) Him shall not perish (spend eternity in hell), but have everlasting life (in heaven). When God sent His Son into the world, it wasn't to condemn the world, but to save it. Who ever puts their trust in the Son shall not be condemned; but who ever does NOT believe in the Son of God is condemned already". Because "ALL have sinned, and we ALL fall short of God's righteous expectations", but "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

You need but ask Him to make these things clear to you, and to reveal Himself to you, and honestly and humbly confess to God (not to a man) your sins, and then repent.

I pray that God would open your eyes that you might see just how much He truly loves you.
