You could pay for a translator to take you around what few sights Korea has to offer, and listen to a lot of anti-Japanese rhetoric, or you could go it alone and save a sh!t wad of cash.

I would budget myself around £2000 - £2500 pounds per person for a trip like that. Less if you're willing to eat and travel inexpensively, more if you're planning on splurging.
