Boyfriend, he's online but not replying at all?

I woke up at 6:20am and opened my ws. While i was scrolling i saw that my boyfriend was online, so i texted him "morning" but he didnt reply. i waited five minutes or so and then sent ".... *waving hand emoji*" then he went offline for a minute and then online again but still no reply and hasnt even read it yet ((no blue tick))

maybe he was busy so i left him be for about 10 minutes or so, but he was still online and not replying or even reading my text. So i sent him another message "you busy?" but he went offline a minute after that. a long while later he continued to be online for an hour or more and now it's 8:30 and he's still online and hasnt replied.

What happened? last night we were okay, texting goodnight and stuff, he even initiated contact first five times yesterday to tell me about his day. Am I being paranoid? :/

Well, last night he was studying with a friend. So he might be testing me since last time we fought about me getting jealous over him spending too much time with another friend of his (female) (we're long distance btw). so maybe he's testing me to see if i freak out againf or sth?
