So Obama says if we don't like what he did, pass a bill. So will he sign a Republican bill that undoes everything he just put out ?

Seriously, if he gets a bill that makes it a full on criminal offense, denies ANY path to citizenship permanently, and calls for deportation of all illegal immigrants regardles of time spent here or economic contribution, will he sign it?

First, what do YOU think "everything he just put out" is? Here's what it contains: Cracking down on illegal immigration at the border, deporting felons, and background checks. Seems like those are all things a Republican bill would contain, no?

But, to answer your question, sure. Obama could veto any bill. But Congress can override the veto. All they need are the votes.

You think Republicans will actually pass a bill? They've spent the last 6 years obstructing every move Obama made. What makes you think they'll suddenly become productive and start doing their job?

There are 4 Repblican House bills sitting on Harry Reids desk.

All dealing with permanent Immigration reform. Your lying

fearless leader forgot to mention those last night.

Hypocritically he also knows that it will be a couple of more months until the Republican Senate is seated so he knows that Harry Reid will continue to block any legislation passed by the House.

Of course he would not sign it. His statement, pass a bill, is just another way of passing the buck and taking no responsibility at all.

It would be just as easy to impeach him for violating his oath of office. On several occasions now, he has refused to enforce laws passed by congress as he is constitutionally required to do!

I dare the Republicans to do that. Talk is cheap, con. Republicans would be digging their own graves and they know it.

of course not -- he'll veto it. You can expect an immigration bill late next spring or early summer -- which he'll veto

What would the republican bill include?
