Any animal and kid-friendly way to get rid of GERMAN roaches?
My issue is small but its getting excessive... I have small german roaches in my home. They get worse around the winter time. It's winter and they are trying to come in....
I cannot use heavy pesticides with 6 furballs and 2 toddlers running about. Nor do I have money for an exterminator.. many in my area cost 150 or more... Can I use laundry detergent, water, and a spray bottle to kill them off? What would you suggest?

Combat bait that comes in little plastic disks placed under things and in corners of the lower cabinets will take care of German roaches. The roaches eat it and die. It can take some time for this to work to kill all of them.
