Why do people want to join the military?(Not just enlisting, but officers)?

Why the **** do not only dumb enlisting people join the military but officers who have 4.0 gpa and all that nonsense extracurriculars join the military as well? Doesn't it come to your mind that all your efforts in high school, college, graduate school and such goes down the toilet when you decide to commission? You are supporting the effort of the united states to kill innocent people and your harmless enemies and buddies? Military engineers design fighter planes and guns designed to kill people. Dreamy fighter pilots fly to kill, not realizing that they ended someone's live who wished to never ever want to fly a fighter plane and was forced to be in that job. Career military frat clubs joke around and never contributing to the continuation of humanity and peace, all they ever want to do is make the process of getting in harder and keeping the innocent country people getting killed all the time. I'll say the use of valedictorian intelligence and dexterity should NEVER be used to contribute to the murders of innocent iranians, koreans, syirans, taliban people who want you to get out of their country because YOU ARE INVADING THEIR COUNTRY.

Overall, if you are considered a einsteinian talented person yourself and want to join the military, don't even bother dumping your smelly poop efforts into this human rights destroyer company, WORST MISTAKE YOU'LL EVER MAKE.
