A question for Young Earth Creationists: How do you justify that fact that plants would have existed before the sun?

    It's like the question how is light from galaxies millions of light years away reaching the earth. The answer is usually he made the universe with light already reaching the earth. So then it would seem God wants us to believe the earth and the universe is young, but then makes it to where it looks old. Not sure what the logic God was going for there then.

    Nothing to justify.. The sun is a source of light, but light can come from other sources and plants really aren't picky about where the light come's from.

    You also leave off that the account indicates only 1 day before the sun. That is not really a big deal, that happens all the time today.

    I've asked this over and over, there's no satisfactory answer other than that the story is a bit of mythology blindly accepted as true due to it being included in a compendium of similar stories that were pronounced divine and infallible some 1700 years ago.

    It makes me wonder how we ever got to the moon.
