Is Eve really just a female counterpart of Adam?

It's interesting that human males and females have the same number of ribs. Another reason to doubt the story. Of course, one might ask which bone is lacking in human males versus his close relatives among the primates. You can look this up. All primates except humans and spider monkeys have a baculum. In fact it has been suggested IN A MEDICAL JOURNAL, that, if one does believe the story about the origin of Eve, that it is the baculum, NOT the rib that created Eve. Of course there is no evidence of Adam and Eve, and lots of evidence including DNA and hominid fossils that humans evolved out of Africa at least 100,000 years ago:

it was made out of him, but it was not a clone, it was an original. god took the rib to make a compatible female human being. I have always believed that god always intended to create eve; but let adam, realize thad he needed eve before creating her. and by making her out of his rib, it made adam felt that eve was really a part of him.

This is an awesome question. Clearly, god could not have used DNA, because Eve needed an X chromosome that Adam didn't have, unless God duplicated Adam's single X and discarded his Y. I'm going with the "It's magic!" explanation.

P.S. Adam's clone would not be Adam. There are twins all over the place who are clones of each other.
