What are things you are glad your parents taught you?

How to raise my 2 yr old daughter at 15 yrs old

To be kind and generous.

I am age 50, kindness is a much needed thing these days. My parents, age 75, are two of the kindest most generous people I know.

to be kind and generous, to love my sister and other people with all my heart, to trust others when they tell me something and to always do my best no matter what. These shaped who I am and even though I may seem naive or easy to use I am also stronger have much better relationships with my family and close friends as a result.

To not do something I dont want to do. Because I shouldnt be forced

To speak while I have a chance. So I know I can change what I want before it comes (usually in food)

and my favorite is what they tell me before I go to parties.

and dont drink to much

and thats my favorite because umm well it sounded reasonable to me before I left out the door
