How do you use a convection oven?

I've never have had to purchase one. So this would be my first time using one. I wouldn't even know where to start! Please no rash comments.

We have a convection oven. Since most recipes are based on a conventional oven ours lets you put in the normal temperature from the recipe and the oven then adjust the temperature setting for the convection mode. You still cook for the same period of time that you would in a conventional over.

As Paladin says then instructions should tell you all about that.

I find ours cooks up to 20% faster on some things. Usually the temp is 25 degrees lower. Good info on convection cooking, here's one: http://www.dexknows.com/local/home_improvement/gui...

just follow the instructions that come with it and in the recipes you want to cook
