Using the CSIRO site as a reference is not helpful. It is full of Leftist scientists who only say what is needed to get Government funding, whether true or not.

All the anti CO2 supporters claimed a recent calving of ice off Antarctica was due to "global warming", when in fact it was shaken off by the shock from the earthquake that caused the giant Japanese tsunami, which actually shifted the planet on its axis.

The President of one of the Pacific islands was recently quoted as saying rising ocean levels were due to ARCTIC ice melting, which is patently WRONG, as ice melting from the Arctic ice cap is already in the water and therefore cannot affect levels! Just shows how much bad information being accepted, especially by politicians.
