Is this a new habit? Has he been loosing or gaining weight? Sometimes dogs with worms seem like they're always eating as they are "feeding" the worms too.....

Maybe you should feed him more. My dog whines if I am late with his meals. Your dog may need more food. Try adding a little more *before* he whines.

He might want more food - but maybe he just wants a hug. Go sit down on the floor with him for a while.
