Fuses on Celestron Power Tank!?

Hello there! Just wondering if I could use a 1A fuse for my powertank, which is meant to give out 1A current! The fuse that was preinstalled was a 2A, but i blew it accidentally, so now i am wondering: would it still work if I put in a 1A fuse or not?

    It may work, but a 1 A fuse will blow at

    half of the current that popped the 2 A fuse,

    so you'll want to get a small supply of 2 A replacements...
