If YHWH is "our Father"?

Why, in 2 K 3:18-27, did He lie in v18, as you read in verse 27?

Basically, YHWH, the God of Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Mormoms, and Christians, told His chosen children, the Israelites, to attack the Moabites, Lot and one of his daughters descendants, and YHWH would cause them to prevail, but as soon as the King of Moab took his firstborn "son" and sacrificed him as a "burnt offering" to YHWH, YHWH aided the Moabites, in defeating His chosen children?

I understand that this is a very difficult question for anyone to answer, so I will choose the answer that makes the most, logical, sense?

Here are some verses that may aid you,1 Sm 15:29; Nm 23:19; Ex 13:17; Ex 22:29

I read somewhere in Isiah, I believe, where YHWH claims to be ignorant of accepting human sacrifice, "Do not sacrifice your children to Moloch" "I never told anyone to sacrifice their children as an offering?" See Jer 7:31, where YHWH claims He does not like human sacrifices, "to other Gods?" Cf. Lv 20:3?

This is not the only time YHWH has given victory in war in exchange for a human sacrifice? In Jg 11:30, 31, 39, Jephthah, with the Holy Ghost given to him by YHWH, made a "vow" with YHWH to offer "whoever" was the first to greet him at the door of his house when he returned triumphantly from fighting his enemy, as a "burnt offering" to YHWH, and he murdered his own daughter, for she was the first to greet him after YHWH accepted his vow, and helped him win the battle against his enemy?

I don't expect u can explain

Anyone who looks at the actions of those three faiths knows that they do not believe the same God. The God of the Bible is NOT the god of the Koran.

The Jewish way was to bring about the Savior and issue in a New Kingdom or New Way and it did through Jesus, the Christ. They have rejected the over 350 fulfilled prophecies. Fine, they will know in Judgment

The Muslims, however, practice a totally different religion with a totally different god and the two (Bible and Koran) are diametrically opposed.

I am just going to answer your question, what you wrote seems like a lot of stuff I don't feel like reading.

    The answer is yes.

Isaiah 64:8 says "O Jehovah, thou art our Father" as does Isaiah 63:16.

Interestingly enough at Psalms 83:18 it says that Jehovah ALONE is Most High. So, the Father ALONE is Most High - which eliminate the possibility of a Trinity because since the Father ALONE is Most High then He is above the Son and Holy Spirit in every sense. Which means they are not co-equal, which means the Trinity is garbage.

To further that point, the Bible never calls Jesus, the Son, the Most High. But it does call him the SON of the Most High at Luke 1:32. The picture, if you desire to see it, should be crystal clear that this point.

Sorry guys, the Trinity is just not a biblical teaching!

As a last resort, it appears that the king of Moab publicly sacrificed his own firstborn son, probably to appease the god Chemosh.

When Jephthah said: “It must also occur that the one coming out, who comes out of the doors of my house to meet me . . . must also become Jehovah’s,” he had reference to a person and not an animal, since animals suitable for sacrifice were not likely kept in Israelite homes, to have free run there. Besides, the offering of an animal would not show extraordinary devotion to God. Jephthah knew that it might well be his daughter who would come out to meet him. It must be borne in mind that Jehovah’s spirit was on Jephthah at the time; this would prevent any rash vow on Jephthah’s part. How, then, would the person coming out to meet Jephthah to congratulate him on his victory “become Jehovah’s” and be offered up “as a burnt offering”?—Jg 11:31.

Jephthah’s daughter was visited “from year to year” by her companions to ‘give her commendation.’ (Jg 11:40) The Hebrew word ta·nah′, used here, also occurs at Judges 5:11, and in that text is variously rendered “recount” (NW), “rehearse” (KJ), “recounted” (AT), “repeat” (RS). The word is defined in A Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon (edited by B. Davies, 1957, p. 693) as “to repeat, to rehearse.” At Judges 11:40 the King James Version renders the term “lament,” but the margin reads “talk with.” As Jephthah’s daughter served at the sanctuary, doubtless like other Nethinim (“Given Ones” devoted to sanctuary service), there was much she could do. These persons served in gathering wood, drawing water, doing repair work, and undoubtedly performing many other tasks as assistants to the priests and Levites there.

god never lied in those verses

the moabites were defeated just as god told elisha to tell Jehoram and the king of judah Jehoshaphat.

the king of moab sacrificed his son he worshiped not to jehovah. those fighting for moab saw this then left fighting for the king of moab.

    verse 27

27 Then he (the king of moab) took his oldest son, who was to succeed him as king, and he offered him on the wall as an entirely burned offering. As a result, outrage was expressed by Israel. So they pulled back from Moab’s king and returned to their own country.

This is what pagans babble when they think they've found contrary evidence. Only an idiot would worship the wrath of fire from God.
