my moms annoying me - help okay.. so my mom and i normally get along, but lately shes really been annoying me..?

so heres an example:

i really want to get a triple forward helix piercing, and she said no (obviously) but i said to her like i will pay for it, and i will take care of it and its temporary like i can take it out when ever..

so she still said no

then like 2 hours later i asked her to take a picture of me and she said no -

i asked why

and she said u want to get the piercing, im not gonna buy u anything and im not taking you on holiday with me.

its so annoying

LIKE HAVE YOU EVER IN YOUR LIFE?

its the stupidest thing iv ever herd.

please help me.

    It's not about the piercing, it's about your whiny attitude. You knew your mom was going to say no, but you went for it anyway. Who cares if you pay for it and take care of it (isn't THAT obvious? What is your mother going to be the one to clean your ear every night in sea salt?), any piercing you get under 18 is a representation of her parenting. No one wants their daughter to look like a hoodlum, no matter the trend.

    But it wasn't the piercing that pissed her off, like I said, it was your entitled attitude. Apologize for the tone of voice you displayed, and move on. You only get one mother, and 18 is going to come really fast... and it's a LOT more that piercings and tattoos, trust me.
