Can I get banned for modding on PS3?
I want to know if I can get banned from psn for modding skyrim if I'm online but of course not multiplayer skyrim ISNT even multiplayer and also is there a chance modding can corrupt my data of that game?

The short answer is yes they could find out, but Mikel is smoking crack. I think he only read the initial question which is a hard mod, but even then you won't get banned for opening your console. I've done it a lot when I had a console. Just gotta be sure when you put it back together everything is plugged in properly or THEN they'll assume you modded your console. Chances of getting banned for modding a single player game however...probably not that high.

Yes, anytime you "break" a 'sealed' unit (Console) you risk tripping anti-piracy guards.
Think about it. When you change the coding of a program (that is already buggy) you run the risk of corrupting the data = crash.
