Stupid case against accident....?
Two days ago when i was driving home from work the road to my house was heavily crowded with people due to flea market.....i took a turn....real slow.....and reached home. A man came running and said my car tires squished his foot. I told him that my lights were on my signals were on and i was honking innumerable times. He got mad and said ill look into it personally. Today the police came to my house and said a case is filed against me stating i hit the person and i assaulted him verbally. I was speechless tomorrow they are calling me to the station for MVA. I am so confused should i pay a fine or should i let the case run....urgent....i dont want things to be taking long but also want him to learn a lesson for the false case....urgent HELP HELP HELP !!!
Not squished ran over.....and toes might be toenails not foot.......

It will be up to him to prove his case, of course. You'd think after being run over by a car, his little piggies will be severely bruised and swollen if not fractured.
Go to the cop station, tell your side of the story (don't lie, they have a nose for that stuff), and take it from there.
Unfortunately, you didn't handle this the smart way at all. You didn't take his name, you didn't get the names of any witnesses, you didn't ask to see his damaged toes, you didn't insist that the police be called to the scene... none of that. In doing none of the above, you made things more difficult for yourself.

Did you run over his toes.
Honking your horn no matter how loudly or how often gives you right of way no does it give you the right to drive into people.
Did you take his name at the time? Did you ask to see his squished foot? did you photograph it. did you ask him to wait while you called the police to sort it out there and then, or did you just tell him to hop it?
If a you've been called into the police station you best attend, with a lawyer.
