Why can't I get adblock from the google chrome store? Are there any other good pop-up blockers?

Whenever I try, it just says NETWORK_FAILED. I need something to block all the pop-ups and other crazy ****. Sometimes I'll just click somewhere to start typing, and a random window will open and it's annoying as hell. I hate it. Anybody have any recommendations? Thanks.

    You will have to uninstall and re-install Google Chrome. That should solve the problem.
