Bush was a bad president. Obama was a bad president. why do Americans believe re-electing anyone from those two parties will do anything?

We are a nation of 2 main political parties although a person could run as an independent. It is the individual candidate that we choose and not necessarily the party affiliation. We have had great presidents in the past from both parties. Do not use current or recently past presidents to compare good and/or bad.
What other option do you suggest?

Excellent question, Politics is the problem, and instead of looking beyond Politics, people think more Politics will somehow make it better, which it won't, more of a bad thing, doesn't suddenly make it right.
