Why is my dog so crazy?

I have a bichon who is completely bonkers! If i leave him for 2 minutes to do something when I see him again he will get really excited and go into a 'Bichon Blitz'! Also he just is generally excited all the time and will run around the house about 6 times a day even afters he been on many walks.

I got a bichon that had a ton of energy so I got an older dog from the shelter that could hold his own but also help calm her down and it worked great my bichon is around a year old and I got a yorkie that was about seven also try using a runner if he/she likes being outside

How long are the walks? Dogs are supposed to be walked for at least an hour a day (one long walk might wear it out more than 2 or 3 shorter ones).

Also, do a lot of training with him, training tires him out mentally, which will make him less hyper.

But if he's a hyper dog, although you can make him a bit less hyper with proper exercise and training, he will always be hyper.

Sound like your dog is a puppy. That is normal for high energy puppies.

That is why people should always pick dogs for their personality not for their looks. You have a very high energy puppy and you'll have to consistently work at draining all that energy or the dog will get bored and/or depressed and frustrated.

It can be a lot of fun having a puppy like that and it can certainly be tiring at times. Have fun.
