Is it worth the trouble introducing two adult cats if one is here temporarily?

My sister came home for Christmas and she'll stay for about 20 days, her cat is enormous and aggressive with other cats while my cat is 7 months old and small, right now I'm keeping my cat in my room, should I do that for the rest of the holidays or should we introduce them? I'm not sure I want to take a risk like that, since it's just for 2-3 weeks.

Don't keep your cat cooped up in your room, I would hold your kitten and let the aggresive cat sniff around or paw at the kitten (gently). I have a German Shepherd dog who gets very aggressive around new animals and when I got my kitten he tried to eat her, literally. Just give them distance and then slowly bring them together. In the end they may not like each other but just avoid each other. Hope this helped!!
