Is there a way to speed up my internet (legally or illegally)?
My internet's current speed is capped at about 100kbs. I can't pay my isp to increase it at the moment. I am literally being driven insane by how slow it is. Please, for the love of god, tell me how I can make it faster, legally or illegally, i don't care. If want to lecture me about morality, don't. You'll be wasting your time. Please! THERE HAS TO BE A WAY!

The ISP locks the speed at their data center. So there really is nothing you can do at your end. Which means your only option is illegal measures. This generally involves you going to their data center and beating up the person in charge to change the settings for your house.
Unfortunately this also will result in you getting arrested. On the plus side - you will have faster internet speed, you just can't use it.

100kbps? That is barely any faster than outdated dial up modems! They were rated for 56k, but you usually at best would get 32kbps. And I have not used that since 2001.
You will need a faster ISP. I do not see how any ISP can stay functioning at such a slow speed. Even rural places (Florahome FL middle of the woods) and tiny towns in the middle of nowhere (Gilbert Iowa, town the size of a shopping mall) have faster connections.

I have the same speed and I'm fine. You could ask the isp to up your internet speed...
Or get a few lunchboxes, sand, ductape and a led and pretend you're a kamikaze and THEN ask them to up your internet speed.

No, 100kbs is not fast at all. Most have download speeds in the megabyte range and if you go to an ISP with Fiber Optic Service you can get upload speeds in the 75/100mbs range.

Well you can try by deleting unused downloads, pictures, folders, and bookmarks. This way there will be less to load for the computer.

Wait, isn't 100kbs really fast already?
