How can i unblock my eustacian tube?

i just recovered from the most severe brochitis i have ever had after fighting it for two horrible weeks. As it subsided, my ears took turns being stopped up and now my left ear has been mostly stopped up for over a week. My ears click when i yawn or chew. I have never had sinus or allergy issues and am a 41 year old female. I am trying to unblock the eustacian tube myself if possible. I have read conflicting things online about what works and what doesn't so i am hoping to get some real-life experiences from fellow yahooers, thanks :)
