How much does dripping water cost me?

I have a tap that whenever i shut it off it still drips about 2 drops a second how much is this costing me a month/year?

    Not much, the sanity you are loosing while driving you crazy cost much more.

    Check your water bill, it normally says something less than $2 per ccf, which is one hundred cubic feet, equivalent to 748 gallons. There are 720 hours a month, so if it takes 1 hour to fill a gallon it would fill 720 gallons a month, so about 1 ccf per month.

    Depends on your water rates. It could cost $1-$2 a month, could cost $5 or more a month.

    It can add up quicker than you think; plus the rate may increase slowly.

    Put a container under the tap and see how much you collect. You'll have a better idea over time.

    The issue is the dripping. Put a new washer in.

    No idea, but it is very wasteful. Get it fixed.
