What are the chances that a bank robbery would be successful?

I was recently playing the game payday 2 and it got me thinking in the game you do a lot of robberies including banks so i was wondering what is the likely hood that somebody could do a successful bank robbery in 2014?

Update:

What i mean by successful is in the game the thieves take the money and escape without being caught they wear masks to hide their faces and destroy cameras i want to know if this is actually realistic

Your chances are not good, and if you get away without ultimately being caught, you'll likely not get much. See my source.

Of the 16 people killed during bank robberies in 2010, 13 were the perpetrators.

Pretty high for the first one, most banks don't keep a lot of cash and tellers are behind bullet proof glass but if you had a gun you might be able to rob them. Security cameras are everywhere so they will know what you look like and your vehicle but it might take time to catch you. You could get just a few hundred dollars and a long prison sentence so isn't worth it besides being wrong.

What do you mean by "successful"? To make it to your getaway car alive with the cash is one thing, but to get away without having your picture taken is impossible. Then the FBI gets after you and it's just a matter of time, like 20 years.

The prisons are filled with people that thought they could get away with crime.
