Is it safe to leave my coffee maker plugged in?
Just got a Black & Decker coffee maker. Is it safe to leave it plugged in (not on)?

it is safe only if 1. it does not have a hot plate warmer for the carafe, or 2. if it has a warmer, it has an automatic timer to shut off (usually after 2 hours). i have 2 coffee makers, one of each type, and i leave them plugged in.

Hi not a good idea to leave any electrical appliance plugged in it could burn itself out.

I leave my coffee maker plugged in all the time, so I don't see why you couldn't...
but I mean, if you want to be safe, you could leave it unplugged at night.
