How to leave working in a charity shop?
Near the end of the summer holidays I started working at Barnardo's. I want to leave to get a paid job but I feel bad because I haven't really been working there long; 5 months on Sunday's for 3 or 4 hours. Have I been working there long enough? And do I have to hand in a resignation or just tell my boss I want to leave.
Also I didn't need a CV to work in Barnardo's so I've never written one... I'm 15 and so due to my lack of previous jobs and the fact that I have not yet taken my exams there wouldn't be anything to put in there. Do I need one? Would it be okay to just give in my report card? It says my current grades, predicted grades and attendance.
Thanks and sorry there's a lot.

Quite simply, you're a volunteer and you can leave at any time without having to give any notice. However, there's nothing wrong with telling the manager that you're looking now for a paid job and once you get one you'll be leaving. After all, the manager might be able to write a reference for you.
