This is up to your mom, not you. It may be her only chance. If she won't do it there are 100 actresses breathing down her neck who will and will with an eagerness. She may have to do something she doesn't like in order to have something she loves. No job is perfect and it's not like they're asking her to do anything immoral or illegal. They're just asking her to do her job. The one she presents herself as being able to do. Your job is to support her and that's it. If her role embarrasses you, don't go see the movie.
